Values in Alignment - Values-Centered Leadership

A staff is only as effective as its leaders, so we have incorporated the Values-Centered Leadership component of training and mentoring to teach leadership skills.

To align all of the parts of the organization around a set of core values, leaders view the organization as a system of connected and interdependent parts. If the organization is to offer transformational potential to its constituents and to its community and larger social context, then leaders must optimize both the people who make the organization work and the system through which they work.

That’s why we have incorporated the critically important Values-Centered Leadership component to Values in Alignment. Piloting ViA at youth organizations serving thousands of children and young adults, we observed that many of the managers lacked leadership skills. Some recognized their shortcomings, many did not. Most did not understand their critical role in passing along positive values, but virtually all were interested in self improvement.

Through Values-Centered Leadership we provide the training and personalized mentoring that has been proven to work in businesses throughout America. Starting with our Leadership Model for System Alignment we explain how good leaders first master themselves.

We explain the importance of setting a personal agenda and building a network of people who will support that agenda. And we help these managers understand the importance of anchoring themselves in positive values, and adopting habits that have proven effective for leaders worldwide.

Utilizing Life Style Inventory 1 and 2, powerful assessment tools developed by Human Synergistics International, we help managers identify their strengths areas of growth. We guide them the steps needed to change them from traditional managers into vital leaders who motivate and empower their subordinates in ways that lead to greater innovation and collaboration that in turn brings out the best in the individual and the organization.
