Values in Alignment

A comprehensive approach to teaching positive values and constructive life skills in America's youth.

Finding True North

In the battle for the minds and hearts of today’s youth, the losers are young people who don’t have or can’t read a moral compass. Values in Alignment is a process designed to aid those youngsters.

The Values in Alignment process (ViA) helps leaders of youth organizations who want to take a stand for civility, life affirming values, and strong character development.

It focuses on effectively and consistently developing character in young people so that as they take their place in society, they will want to build and sustain moral and ethical cultures wherever they work, play, and raise families.

Youth Training

ViA's curriculum is tailored to the individual needs and desires of the youth organization. (more)

VIVA - Values Institute Volunteers in Action

We have introduced VIVA, a program to recruit and train volunteers to deliver the ViA curriculum at youth organization locations. (more)

Organizational Immersion

ViA involves the entire organization so it is likely to be more effective than a canned curriculum delivered by people whose lives may not reflect the values they are asked to teach. (more)

Process Manual

The ViA Process Manual serves as a guide for all staff members. (more)

Values-Centered Leadership

A staff is only as effective as its leaders, so we have incorporated the Values-Centered Leadership component of training and mentoring to teach leadership skills.  (more)
